"Reaching Beyond" starts with reaching to Jesus. We have to realize that we need to put Christ first in our lives. Our first love is God, upon which all other relationships are built.
Deuteronomy 6:5 "love The Lord your God with all of your heart, all your soul, and all your strength"
If we truly love The Lord in this way, then reaching beyond will come naturally. As we begin to spread God's love to others, then we are making steps that are eternal. Everyday should be a challenge to the christian-- we should awake with thought -'what am I going to do for God today?'.
Most people have extremely busy lives which poses an even greater challenge for ministry. But if we get too busy for God, then we are TOO busy.
